John P. Holden is an economic development and business strategy executive with more than 30 years of experience driving investment, innovation, and regional growth across the public, private, and nonprofit sectors. Throughout his career, he has helped secure more than $500 million in business investment and $300 million in grants and philanthropic funding while leading transformative initiatives in economic development, smart city innovation, entrepreneurship, and business expansion. Most recently, John served as Smart City Manager for the City of Raleigh, following his tenure as Director of Economic Development & Tourism for Stafford County, Virginia, where he led landmark business attraction projects that generated more than $500 million in investment and created over 2,000 jobs.
